�Earlier, there were media reports that E Sreedharan, who is about to retire from the DMRC, said in New Delhi that he was not interested in associating with the Kochi Metro Rail project if DMRC was not involved in the implementation of the project.
Sreedharan, according to the report, also said that the KMRL had written a letter to the DMRC stating that they could implement the project on their own without the support of the DMRC.
